Bye Bye Summer // New Zealand

Hello Everyone,

I interrupt my current fortnightly schedule to bring to you my second ever video.

I started this adventure to get out of a homesick funk that I had been living in for over a year. For me my blog is about appreciating where I am. I live in bloody New Zealand! A place I am told should be my lead in when introducing myself. It should be easy enough to be happy I'm here?

Wrong.

As my degree journey was coming to an end I found that I was a little bit lost. Kinda like where I was when I finished high school but this time was different. No matter how hard I tried it wasn't getting any better. So I made a decision to travel. When I was a little kid our backyard didn't have a fence and opened up onto a massive field. I remember the joy it brought me running around exploring it with my friends and siblings. It was here where my curiosity for exploring began and here where my mind returned during this time. Why not explore what is right on my door-step. Why not go "tiki-touring" around my own backyard. Seeing as I'm a student, my bank account also liked this idea.

Long story short, its worked and I just want to thank you all for joining me. To my family and friends who are continuously encouraging me, the fact that you like what I have to say really means a lot. To my new friends that have found me, thank you for thinking I'm cool enough to follow around the world. To my boyfriend and siblings, thank you for being dragged around and told to be candid with very minimal complaints - I hope the photos are worth it!

Remember your backyard is the first place that you ventured out to explore. Don't let the fact that its your normal stop you from seeing it's beauty.
